The UAE, South Korea and Japan has topped their respective group in afc asian region qualifiers for london olympics 2012.With only last match remaining scheduled to be played on 14th of march these teams have almost qualified for the Olympic football in London.
In group A match, Korea thrashed Oman with 3-0 score and qualified to olympics for the seventh time in a row.Nam Tae-hee, Kim Hyun-sung and Kim Min-woo scored for Korea's triumph. Korea Republic will face Quatar on March 14 which requires a win to claim the Group A runners-up place at the expense of Oman.

In group B,Omar Abdulrahman's from the UAE scored to edge Australia 1-0 and claim the top spot of Group B.Uzbekistan will host the UAE in the final matchday on March 14 and the winner of that match will qualify for the London Olympics.
In Group C match, Japan proved their class by defeating Malaysia with 4-0 score.Hiroki Sakai, Yuya Osako, Genki Haraguchi and Manabu Saito scored for Japan.
