Manchester City fans are so eager to grab the Premier League title with a win on Sunday as they are already wearing T-shirts proclaiming the club as champions. But Cisse insists that QPR, which is in the verge of relegation, believe they will upset the city fans.
He said: “I think we are going to go grab something there. iIt’s a football game. It’s 11 v 11. They have got two arms, two legs, just like us, so we are going to try to compete. We have to finish the job [of staying up] at Man City.”
Cisse is a close friend of City midfielder Samir Nasri but says that QPR’s survival is more important.
He said: “I am really, really close with Samir so I hope not to take the title from him but if I have to do it, I have to do it.”
Cisse was left out of the starting line-up against Stoke on Sunday but came on to score the crucial late winner.
