English hearts were broken as two Asley for England,Asley Young and Asley cole failed to score in the penalty shoot out in the last quater final of EURO 2012.Italy advanced to the semi-finals and will meet Germany for the final spot.
The last but not the least quater-final of Euro 2012 witnessed a tough competition between two football giants, England and Italy. The Italian side won the major half of the possession but was not able to convert the chances. Both teams missed crucial chances of scoring from the start of the match and the match was forced towards 30 minutes of extra time.
Although Italy found the English net in 115th minutes, it was unlucky as it was off-side.The 120 minutes of play resulted in a 0--0 scores so the game was decided by the penalty kick.
